Attractive noses can take on many sizes and shapes. Generally, an attractive nose occupies a proportional space in the middle third of the face and should neither dominate nor minimize its presence. Dr. Berger’s professional eye guides him as he works with you to determine how your nose should be treated. Some common problems include:

• • Tips that are pinched, bulbous, or “bum shaped”

Prior to your treatment, Dr. Berger will administer anesthesia that will minimize discomfort during the nose injection rhinoplasty. The anesthesia is administered in the form of a topical “numbing cream” and/or injected local anesthesia. Next, Dr. Berger injects a soft tissue filler (Perlane®, Restylane®, and Juvéderm® are most common) into those areas of the nose that will provide enhanced nasal contour and shape. Dr. Berger may place small tapes on the nose to support it following your injection and for the first 24 hours after treatment. The entire non-surgical nose job takes from 5-15 minutes!

Recovery time for the non-surgical nose job is minimal. As with all of the procedures that we perform, clients can return to work or class immediately afterwards. Some redness, swelling, or bruising may appear during the first two days, but can almost always be easily camouflaged with make-up.

Results are subtle and immediate. Patients usually notice an improved appearance right away, though others may not be able to pinpoint exactly what has changed about your face. After about a year, the filler will start to breakdown, and many patients choose to return for a touch-up.
