If you’re a fan of Major League Baseball,  you would have to go out of your way to avoid news about baseball players’ or athletes’ use of Human Growth Hormone (HGH). A slew of players have been suspended or penalized after admitting use, and countless others are under suspicion.     i’m curious would my medical plan cover such as (Green Shield) cover hgh replacement therapy…..and if not what would be the cost of such……

    Majid, thanks for your question. Most Plans will cover a portion of the services and testing required, depending on your benefit plan, but not the cost of HGH itself.
